Director - Chris Gurney
Chris is Director of Oxbridge Interviews. He has worked and volunteered in education for the last 12 years. 6 those have been spent in senior and middle leadership roles overseeing national education programmes.
Chris spent a year as Director of Programmes at the Holocaust Educational Trust (HET). Before joining HET, he spent 5 years leading national research programmes aiming to improve outcomes for pupils from low income communities, first at Future Foundations and then at Teach First.
He is also chair of governors of Central Foundation Boys’ School, an outstanding comprehensive school in Islington.
Students and Parents Liaison - Sam Inkpen
Sam is responsible for leading on all areas of our growth - developing our relationships with schools and driving our B2C sales.
After graduating with an LLB from the LSE, Sam taught English as a foreign language in Thailand for 18 months. Upon his return to the UK he worked in various capacities at Kings College London across admissions and marketing. In 2008 he moved to JWT, which was the beginning of a nine year stint working at various specialist advertising and marketing agencies, servicing the higher education sector in the UK and Europe.
Following a successful period of freelance consultancy for a range of suppliers within the sector, he was keen to return to a team environment and company with a great mission - Oxbridge Interviews.
Operations Lead - Rachael Griffiths
Rachael leads on operations at Oxbridge Interviews. After completing her undergraduate degree at SOAS, University of London, she studied for her Masters at the University of Oxford. She is now a studying for her PhD in Tibetan History at Wolfson College, University of Oxford.
She has served as Junior Dean at St Hilda's College, Oxford for the last three years, meaning she holds full responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of Oxford undergraduates.
She has also worked as a ski instructor in Canada, and speaks four languages - English, French, Tibetan and Welsh!
Product Manager - Mili Malde
Mili is responsible for developing our key digital products and creating new e-learning services for our students.
Mili read Classics at Wadham College, Oxford. Since graduating, she has worked as a User Experience Researcher in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office developing a digital service for diplomats, a Service Designer delivering Welfare Reform at the Department for Work and Pensions, and as the Architecture and Innovation Strategy Lead at the Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.
She recently re-built our 16 lesson TSA online course, and designed and built our new 19 lesson BMAT online course!
