Director - Chris Gurney
Chris is Director of Oxbridge Interviews. He has worked and volunteered in education for the last 12 years. 6 those have been spent in senior and middle leadership roles overseeing national education programmes.
Chris spent a year as Director of Programmes at the Holocaust Educational Trust (HET). Before joining HET, he spent 5 years leading national research programmes aiming to improve outcomes for pupils from low income communities, first at Future Foundations and then at Teach First.
He is also chair of governors of Central Foundation Boys’ School, an outstanding comprehensive school in Islington.
Operations Lead - Rachael Griffiths
Rachael leads on operations at Oxbridge Interviews. After completing her undergraduate degree at SOAS, University of London, she studied for her Masters at the University of Oxford. She is now a studying for her PhD in Tibetan History at Wolfson College, University of Oxford.
She has served as Junior Dean at St Hilda's College, Oxford for the last three years, meaning she holds full responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of Oxford undergraduates.
She has also worked as a ski instructor in Canada, and speaks four languages - English, French, Tibetan and Welsh!
Product Manager - Ben MacInnes
My primary role at OxFizz is to develop our digital learning products. I’m responsible for improving our internal digital suite, managing our digital marketing, and developing new e-learning materials to be used by our students. I recently graduated from the University of York with a Master of Physics with my final year project looking at new detectors for antimicrobial resistance. Since graduating I joined the civil service, working in the Data Dtrategy Team at the Department of Environment, Food and Rural affairs. I then moved on to managing the public application webpage for the Legal Aid Agency.
