Biochemistry

Katie completed a Masters of Molecular & Cellular Biochemisty at Lady Margaret Hall, University of Oxford followed by a DPhil in Clinical Medicine at Green Templeton College, University of Oxford.

Since then, she has completed postdoctoral work in Biomedical Research at both Oxford University and University College Dublin. She currently works as a Senior Scientist researching biotherapeutics for cancer treatment.

Katie’s advice to students on their interviews is: “Don't be afraid to stop and think (out loud if possible) before you answer a question, use examples to illustrate your points, and most of all - let your personality and passion for your subject show”
