What you read between now and your interview will unquestionably be crucial to how you perform. Whether simply because you’ll be asked questions on specific texts you’ve read, or because certain books will give you new ways of thinking about things which you can apply to interview, we simply cannot emphasise the importance of reading enough. But what is most important is that your reading is targeted. It’s about the quality and depth of what you read, and what you take from that, rather than the sheer number of books you read. That said, it pays to read more than just one article!

Below is a selection of suggested reading for each subject. It is by no means definitive, so feel free to edit or remove from the list, depending on what your interests are.
