  • The test is similar in content to Oxford’s equivalent History Aptitude Test, so their resources may be helpful. Oxford UNIQ have filmed a YouTube video showing first year students discussing Question 3 of the HAT, and suggests some of the different ways you can approach an unfamiliar piece of text.
  • A YouTube Q&A with a History student at Oxford can be found here. It is a long video, but between 12 and 25 minutes the student discusses their preparation for and experience of the HAT test. It’s worth watching and taking notes!
