About Oxbridge Interviews
Our interview support allows young people to develop their skills and reach their potential in university interviews. As we work with some of the most successful schools in the country, as well as hundreds of private clients, we understand the type of interview support which most effectively helps young people to thrive in academic interviews.
At Oxbridge Interviews we give every student we support the best chance to succeed by enabling them to practice the skills tested in the application process.
Our team of passionate and highly trained graduate interviewers are drawn from a variety of interesting backgrounds and professions, and use this expertise to provide realistic and rigorous practice for students from all backgrounds.
Our Social Mission
Oxbridge Interviews was founded in 2007 by three graduates from Oxford and Cambridge. The founders came from very different educational backgrounds, but were united in having experienced the challenging and daunting nature of the Oxbridge admissions process.
Our founders were motivated by the shared belief that many of the myths and perceptions concerning interviews at Oxford and Cambridge are unhelpful and untrue. Their ethos still guides our work - that all students should be given the opportunity to practice relevant skills in order to fulfil their potential through applying to top universities. This ethos is also shared by our interviewers - they are all recent graduates who, having completed their own educations, want to support the next generation of school leavers.
We are a non-profit business - all of the proceeds generated by our work is reinvested into education and UK charities, and our highly trained interviewers support students through partnerships with TeachFirst, Ark Academies, The Access Project, Sutton Trust, Villiers Park and others.
We believe our social enterprise model gives us a unique advantage in this sector: we are able to attract extremely high achieving graduates to interview for us. They are motivated to volunteer their time with us in order to be able to support students going through the same experiences they went through in their applications, whilst also being able to raise funds for good causes.
We know that we would not be able to attract or retain this calibre of interviewer if we were employing them on a casual basis, and are delighted that over 200 recent Oxbridge graduates support us with their time and skills on an annual basis.
